Although not essential, the use of compostable bags brings a certain comfort to the use of dry toilets.

Your bucket will not be soiled except for a few occasional slight urine leaks.
A bag does not guarantee a perfect seal.
In this sense, we still recommend the use of a bucket to contain the bag.

If you want to use your dry toilet in a place where water is not available, then the use of these bags is essential.

Composed of Mater-Bi (bio plastic).

Mater-Bi is a new generation of bio-plastics mainly from plant origin (cornstarch) and synthetic polymers.
It has the same characteristics as plastic but is completely biodegradable.
The Mater-Bi is certified OK COMPOST, DIN CERTCO and EK CERTIFICATE according to the European standard EN 13432, the most demanding in terms of certification.

These compostable bags are guaranteed GMO and PLA free.


These bags are labeled "OK Compost". That is to say that their compostability is guaranteed by an independent certification body.
The "OK Compost" label guarantees that your bag will be easily composted within 10 to 45 days in an industrial composter.

This bag will still degrade in your family composter in 8 to 12 months.

Since the composting cycle of the dry toilet is over two years, it does not make a difference.
