This special dry toilet litter is made up of 60% wood chips (northern pine and Douglas fir) and 40% chènevotte (hemp shavings).

With an ideal particle size for dry toilet litter, these elements are very absorbent (4.5 x their weight) and yet allow the whole to breathe well for a composting process in the best aerobic conditions.

This mixture will provide you with very good absorption and excellent odor management.

As straw has a very rapid degradation capacity, your compost will reduce in volume faster than with wood chips alone.
In addition, the decomposed straw will allow more air to circulate inside your compost, thus increasing the aerobic decomposition of your pile.

The wood chips and hemp fibers will degrade in a sufficiently long time to allow the process to take the time necessary for the complete sanitation of your dry toilet compost.
